Want to strut your stuff on our catwalk?

As a proud headline sponsor of Brighton Baby Expo, Yummy Mummy Maternity is on the look out for some yummy mummy’s to strut their stuff on our catwalk as part of our fabulous fashion show.

We are looking for three happy and confident mummy’s (and mummy’s to be!) to show off their beautiful bumps in our range of fashionable maternity and breastfeeding clothes that are showcased in our shop on Portland Road and our website with a winner in each of the following categories:-

• Second Trimester (weeks 13-26),
• Third Trimester (weeks 27 – birth!)
• and a breastfeeding mummy

But, that’s not all … Each of our lucky winners will also receive a £50 voucher to spend on clothing from Yummy Mummy Maternity, a fantastic maternity photo-shoot and mounted print from Jo Wise photography worth £100 and a specially designed pregnancy (or post pregnancy!) pamper package from Debbie Stevens Wellbeing events.

To enter all you have to do is Email yummymummymaternityonline@gmail.com with a photo stating which category you want to enter and no more than 250 words of why you should be one of our Yummy Mummy winners! Confidence and inner beauty are more important to us than a traditional ‘model look. Between Debbie’s healing hands, Jo’s amazing photos and the stylish and fabulous clothes everyone can look a million dollars anyway!

National Breastfeeding Week – win an item of your choice

As you all know by now it is National Breastfeeding week, a week given over to the promotion of breastfeeding, and whilst at Yummy Mummy Maternity we fully support a womans right to choose what is best for her – breast or bottle, we do believe in celebrating not hiding away your right to choose breast!

Pick up a little sexy something for fathers day ;)

So you and your partner were happily mooching along in couple land enjoying a bit of ‘between the sheets action’ when suddenly ‘boing (or should that be bonk?!) you’re pregnant and now all that rolling around in bed (on the couch, in the kitchen etc etc) seems like a long time ago

Throughout June www.yummymummymaternity.co.uk will be running a weekly giveaway competition.

To enter the competition to win that weeks prize the reader must leave a comment on that week’s post. As well as physical comment in the box there should also be a link to the readers blog, facebook or twitter identity via the ‘like’ button, this is to enable us to identify and contact the winning entrant, failure to provide such contact details will invalidate the entry as there will be no means of YMM contacting the winner.

A new post will go up each Wednesday on the following dates, and there will be six days in which to leave your comments, entries will close at 12pm on the closing date stated :-

How to wear white

This post is all about embracing white in all it’s glory as a pregnant woman – one reason being it’s a colour that after your little bundle of loveliness is born you will be avoiding at all costs! so go on get out there and enjoy it now!

A relaxed white dress can be your summer weekend uniform – banish jeans to the back of your wardrobe (OK, the side, lets face it banishing jeans is a no no for most of us!) Combine it with neutral accessories such as tan sandals and bags and then colour-pop it up for a change of style with bright neon accessories or metallics – White is equally as easy to wear at night, go for more detail in the fabric or shape and get out there and glow!

 

A little touch of vintage style lace at the neckline makes this dress the perfect laid back summer addition to any wardrobe. With a cute fringed tan bag this dress will look great all summer long
